CHARLEMONT -- Eight property transfers were recorded for Charlemont between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, but only three carried a recorded sale price by press time, ranging from $35,000 to $549,000.

57 E Hawley Road sold for $144,000 on Oct. 1. The sellers were listed as Alternative Holdings LLC by attorney and Onity Mortgage Corp as attorney; the buyer was Mary Morin.

539 Legate Hill Road sold for $35,000 on Oct. 2. The seller was listed as Anthony J. Tartaglia and the buyer as Franklin First Federal Credit Union.

The remaining five recorded transfers, at 66 Thunder Mountain Road, an unspecified Charlemont address, 552 South River Road, 57 East Hawley Road and 520 Legate Hill Road, do not yet carry a recorded sale price.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN East Hawley Road accounted for three of the eight recorded transfers: the $549,000 sale at 14 East Hawley Road, the $144,000 sale at 57 E Hawley Road, and a third transfer at 57 East Hawley Road with a price not yet available involving seller Cascade Funding Mortgage Trust.
