Buckland August Sale Prices Span $20,000 to $500,000 Among Disclosed Deeds

BUCKLAND -- Eleven property deeds were recorded in Buckland between July 31 and August 29, with disclosed sale prices ranging from $20,000 to $500,000. The month's priciest transaction, a $500,000 sale on North Street, was one of two deeds recorded on that street during the period.

MARKET OVERVIEW

Eleven sales were recorded in Buckland during the four-week period. Of those, five deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $20,000 to $500,000, with a median of $310,000 among the disclosed transactions. The other six deeds, more than half the total, did not include a sale price, which is typical for certain deed types such as trust transfers, foreclosure-related conveyances and municipal transactions. 15 School St. sold for $310,000 on Aug. 19. The seller was Tex Anne Caswell, and the buyers were Aaron Care and Alexis Osgerby.

15 Orcutt Hill Rd. sold for $155,000 on Aug. 21. The sellers were Mary K.Y. Lee, trustee, and the Orcutt Hill Road Trust, and the buyer was Aaron Stack.

12 Williams St. sold for $20,000 on Aug. 4. The sellers were Victoria J. Ward and Marjorie L. Ward, and the buyers were Traders Trust Co. and T Bank.
