BERNARDSTON -- The town recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but sale prices had posted to the registry for only five of them by the time this report was compiled. Among those five, prices ranged from $12,928 to $345,500, with a median of $50,000.

Of those, five carried a recorded consideration amount: $12,928, $50,000 (twice), $96,000 and $345,500, producing a median of $50,000. The other seven deeds had no price attached, which is typical for recently recorded transfers; sale prices generally appear in registry data within about a week of recording, so several of the newest entries in this batch simply have not caught up yet.
