Recorded Sale Prices Stay Under $500,000 Across New Salem Transfers

NEW SALEM -- Ten properties changed hands in New Salem between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, according to deeds recorded at the Franklin County Registry of Deeds, though sale prices have been entered for just three of those transactions so far.

Of the 10 recorded transfers, three carry a sale price in the registry's data: $133,000, $150,000 and $250,000. That gives a recorded price range of $133,000 to $250,000 and a median sale price of $150,000 among those three. Elm Street saw two transfers during the period: 84 Elm St. (seller Jeremy Russell, buyer Velocity Investments LLC) and 76 Elm St. (a transfer involving Alane P.
