COLRAIN -- Eleven property transfers were recorded in Colrain over the past month, but just three deeds listed a sale price, ranging from $135,205 to $600,000. The top recorded sale was a $600,000 transaction on Thompson Road.
MARKET OVERVIEW Eleven property transfers were recorded in Colrain between July 3 and Aug. 1, according to Franklin County Registry of Deeds records. Only three of those sales included a disclosed price, ranging from $135,205 to $600,000, with a median of $200,000 among the disclosed sales. The remaining eight transactions did not list a sale price in the deed, which is common for foreclosure, tax-title, bank-related and family or trust transfers. By raw count, 11 recorded transfers over a four-week span is a moderate volume of activity for the town, though the limited price disclosure makes it difficult to characterize the broader market this period.
