Conway Home Sale Prices Range From $70,000 To $788,000 In August

CONWAY -- Ten property transfers were recorded in Conway between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only three of those deeds carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $70,000 to $788,000.

MARKET OVERVIEW Franklin County Registry of Deeds records show 10 property transfers in Conway during the period. Of those, three disclosed a sale price: $788,000, $421,200 and $70,000, producing a median of $421,200 among the disclosed sales. The remaining seven transfers, including one with no address listed, did not include a consideration amount in the recorded deed. With 10 total recordings, deed activity was steady for the period, but because 70% of transfers lack a disclosed price, the available figures describe only a partial slice of the month's market.

TOP SALES The highest-priced recorded transfer was 40 Whately Glen Rd, which sold for $788,000 on Sept. 1. The sellers were Joshua Weil and Jennifer Weil; the buyer was Charles H Blanker.

The second-highest disclosed sale was 66 Jones Corner Rd, which sold for $421,200 on Aug. 26. The sellers were Donald D. Harrington and Sheila Marie Harrington; the buyers were Amerisave Mortgage Corp and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc.

The third disclosed sale was 1774 Shelburne Falls Rd, which sold for $70,000 on Aug. 26. The seller was Donald W. Craig Jr.; the buyer was Citizens Bank NA.

No other recorded transfers in the period included a disclosed sale price.

NEIGHBORHOOD BREAKDOWN Williamsburg Road had two recorded transfers: 287 Williamsburg Rd (sold Sept. 1, seller Lisa Clark, price not disclosed) and 595 Williamsburg Rd (sold Aug. 17, seller Midland Funding LLC, buyer David Perusse, price not disclosed).

Ashfield Road also had two recorded transfers, both on Aug. 12: 1356 Ashfield Rd and 1352 Ashfield Rd. Both deeds list the same seller, Barbara M. Melville, and the same buyer, Vertex Tower Assets LLC. Neither disclosed a sale price.
