SHUTESBURY -- Eleven properties changed hands in Shutesbury during the four weeks from Sept. 4 to Oct. 3, according to deeds recorded at the Franklin County Registry of Deeds, though a sale price has posted for only four of those transactions so far.

MARKET OVERVIEW Of the 11 recorded transfers, four carry a sale price to date, ranging from $35,000 to $117,314, with a median of $82,095. The remaining seven show price not yet available, which is typical for deeds that have just been recorded and usually reflects a short lag before the registry's sale-price data is updated, not any effort to keep a figure private. Based on the raw count alone, 11 property transfers in a single month is a notable volume for a town the size of Shutesbury, though this dataset does not include prior-period figures for comparison.

TOP SALES In descending order, the four sales with a recorded price: 13 Great Pines Drive Ext sold for $117,314 on Sept. 11. Gary and Patricia Jekanowski were the sellers; the buyers were Rocket Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. 450 Pelham Hill Road sold for $100,000 on Sept. 24.
