SHELBURNE — The Selectboard appointed Tom Sampson to a vacant Open Space Committee seat and heard a Tab Room repair update. The 3-0 vote filled a term ending in June 2027 on the committee's recommendation. John Walsh told the board the Tab Room building is "99% done" after contractor Renaissance rebuilt a rotted corner.
He said next year's budget list includes painting, rotting entrance columns and a hole on the south side where an air conditioner once sat. A member said "a picture is worth a thousand words" of Walsh's photos. Liaison reports covered a South Maple Street retaining wall pour planned for the next morning.
A member of the public asked about the sewer grant and said the $1.1 million had come through.
