GREENFIELD — The Sustainable Greenfield Implementation Committee voted to co-sponsor the city's energy fair again this November and confronted years of lapsed reporting to the mayor. Vice Chair George Tolimpsis cited city ordinance Chapter 186, noting the committee is required to file an annual report "on or near December 31st" but has not done so since 2018. Member Max said "it should be part of regular city conversations," criticizing inconsistent participation from the Department of Public Works and other city departments.

The committee approved continuing as energy fair co-sponsor by unanimous roll call vote, partnering again with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments, with dates held for either November 5 or November 17. Members also tabled approval of July 23 minutes pending requested edits from Carol Lee, and agreed to devote most of September's meeting to drafting the overdue annual report.
