Greenfield Board of Licensing Approves Dozen Permits in Single May Session

Greenfield's Board of Licensing approved more than a dozen permits at its May 19 meeting, clearing a full slate of summer events and two liquor license changes unanimously. Franklin Land Trust won three separate approvals — an entertainment license, a public right-of-way permit, and two one-day alcohol licenses — for its 21st annual D2R2 dirt-road bicycle event, drawing roughly 500 riders to the Franklin County Fairgrounds August 21-23. Carola Diola of Ginger Love Cafe received a seven-day seasonal food truck license at the fairgrounds through September 13, an amendment from the five-day-a-week application she originally filed.

The board also approved a change of category from wine and liquor to all-alcohol for Quinn Conway LLC's ACS Market at 259 Conmelay Street, and a companion license transfer of the existing beer-and-wine license to Juan Carranza at 4 Mill Street. Narae Oswald of the new Trekside Eatery at 192 Main Street secured both a common victualler license and a temporary outdoor-seating permit, though no opening date has been set. The board's next meeting is June 16, when it will take up a pending Shriners performing-arts circus application and a license renewal for Connie at the Meadows.
