Shutesbury School Committee Clears Three Tech and Library Policies in Final Session

SHUTESBURY — April 16, 2026 — Shutesbury School Committee unanimously advances three technology and library policies in a brief final meeting of the term. The subcommittee voted to send policies IJLA, IJND, and IJNDB — covering library resources, access to digital resources, and use of technology in instruction — to the full committee for review, completing a second read on all three. Members, including a subcommittee member identified only as Jeremy, framed the action as clearing the deck so that any new members seated after the May 21 town meeting will begin with a complete, reviewed policy set. The committee also discussed adding an optional June orientation session for new members, with staff contact Robin to be notified to schedule it. The next regular meeting is May 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
