Select Board appoints new member to Recreation Committee.

SHUTESBURY -- The Shutesbury Select Board's only recreation-related action this week came during its July 21 meeting, when members voted to appoint Nico Jacobs to the town's Recreation Committee.

TOWN -- The appointment was included among a slate of committee appointments the Select Board approved at the meeting, alongside Frank McGinn as the Finance Committee's representative to the Capital Improvement Planning Committee and Tom Seifert as the Planning Board's representative to the Community Preservation Committee. No representative from the Recreation Committee was present to comment on the appointment before the board's vote.
